Friendly staff and quick service for the pup! We love coming here for walk-in nail trims and call around 15-20min ahead of time and typically get right in. I highly recommend this spot for your fur babies!

If you are a cat owner, you may want to go somewhere else. The last time we went, it left a bad taste in my mouth. The groomer left my cat in his carrier for 4 HOURS with dogs barking all around. They just have 1 big room with dogs barking all day long and it just seems like chaos every time we visit. My cat is so well behaved usually and everyone loves him but this one time they said he was acting up. Like of course he was since you left him in the carrier for 4 hours and he’s stressed having to sit in the corner, squeezed into his carrier and is unable to sprawl out, exposed to dogs running passed him. The craziest thing though is that when we arrived, they didn’t apologize or own up to taking too long. They blamed it on us, saying that “there might be some problems going on at home that the cat is sensing so that is the reason why he is acting up today” wtf? Noooo not that he’s stressed sitting in a carrier for 4 hours right? Just that there could be fighting at home? (Spoiler, there wasn’t and he returned to his sweet self after we got home). They also said they trimmed his nails and completely lied. I typically trim my cat’s nails so I know what they look like trimmed but they lied about having to do such a simple thing. Never going here again. So disrespectful. If you love your cats (or even dogs) run far far away from here.

I was able to schedule a next day appointment after hours online for a nail trim with our chihuahua. Price was fair, quality and service was excellent. Groomers were friendly and outgoing. I plan to bring our dog there again in the future!

i took my siberian husky here at the beginning of december. they shredded her brand new harness beyond repair, and when we got home i realized her entire belly was shaved. i did not consent to this and there was no reason to shave her 🙁 we’re now at the vet because she has a minor infection requiring topical antibiotics. save yourself the stress and take your dog to a different groomer.
EDIT: i just saw another review below mine of nearly the exact same situation and the dates seem to match up. it’s the same groomer doing this to multiple dogs. please do something about this.

Absolutely unacceptable!!! They shaved my dogs (husky) tummy with out permission, gave her an infection, not only that there was foul play involved as well. She went in with a new KONG harness which is very very tough to cut and it was demolished and cut in several spots. They suspiciously put a hankerchief on her to cover it up. I took my dog to the vet and spent 100 dollars, thanks to them hurting my baby. I will be expecting a full refund from them. Not happy at all and very disappointed. I will not trust them again beings though another dog shortly after us had the same thing happen to them.

They did everything wrong. They hurt my dog. They asked us if we wanted his hair cut, to which we replied no, just to thin out the hair on the back. They shaved his entire belly, which we found very strange. That day, when we picked him up, my dog was acting very odd. Once we got home, he kept licking his belly and private parts intensely. By the next morning, he had redness, and the pain was unbearable—he couldn’t walk or sit without crying.
Of course, I took him to the vet that same night, and they told me he had been cut in that area, and from licking it so much, it got infected. I ended up paying for the most “expensive” package, and it sure was expensive because I also had to pay for the vet consultation and medications. He had to wear them for over a week. Avoid going to this place.
We also tried to contact the manager, and they never got back to us.

My dog is pretty tough to work with, but they were quick and had him in and out, in about 15 minutes for a nail trimming. Great customer service and affordable price point.

I legit love these folks! They love my husky Denali and never complain about how loud she may howl! LOL! They really go above and beyond to make sure that service is quality! Highly recommend, booking is easy and they are super detailed! They even give Denali a flower on her collar to make her extra cute!

I have taken one of my doggie sisters and my doggy daughter there and they have been treated with nothing but love and compassion. The only drawback is that they don’t let the customers in. I think it’s just a safety issue. Another problem is if you’re disabled, you don’t have anywhere to sit outside and wait if you’d like to sit outside.

Wonderful experience! I called last minute to get our newly adopted 6 month pup in, who was matted and scared. They took great care of him and reassured me that they would not push anything on the dog, as it should be a good experience for him. I was relieved and will now bring all of my shih tzus here.

I loved the availability Lakewood Pet Grooming supplies. I didn’t have to wait a very long time to get an appointment. The groomer did an amazing job with my senior dog. He seemed very happy and not stressed when we picked him up which makes me believe that they took good care of him.

I appreciate the service provided. My cat, who is quite affectionate, tends to become aggressive when it comes to necessary tasks such as nail trimming or bathing. It saddens me that her aggression limited the procedure to just nail care; however, I recognize the importance of the work done and am thankful that her nails were successfully managed. Had my long haired cat groomed by Kaelin. She did a fantastic job, and my cat couldn’t be happier! No more mats or hair balls. And she looks great too. Curbside check in was so easy and the job was finished earlier than planned. Very professional and organized business. And the “security” dog is super cute. I would definitely recommend this place!

I brought my Golden Retriever here to get cleaned up for her 6th bday and they did a fantastic job. Her ginger coat is so shiny and soft and she looks so pretty. 😍 Communication and customer service was great. We will return.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of my two sheepadoodle’s grooming for the cost. Both my dogs had extremely dirty ears when they came home, which I was told would be covered by the grooming. Also, the groomer didn’t follow the instructions I gave her regarding grooming. Unfortunately, I can’t really recommend this groomer.

Friendly and efficient same day service at a great price. Brought our boisterous big dog here a couple times for nail triming and filing, while we wait. Super happy with the job they do and highly recommend them. Most recent visit yesterday included desheading and a bath, a long with nails. Lilly did a hands down amazing job! My only request is staff be a bit more relaxed when someone opens the front door to let them know they’re waiting outside. You don’t want anyone going in. We get it, but be a bit less aggressive about it to those who don’t know. Overall, this place is wonderful and we’re so happy we found you.

Very pleased with my pup’s grooming with Lakewood Pet Grooming. It was very affordable and they really took their time with her. She came out smelling so nice, with freshly trimmed nails and fur as white as snow! The staff seems to really love dogs, and that is evident based on their level of care. We will be regulars here.

New review from service 6/22. Extremely disappointed. I’ve came here for 6 years. Today the groomer just didn’t feel like grooming?? Normally you all keep sonny for 4-5 hours. Today you had for 35 minutes and claimed it was done. I get him home and he’s not even cut evenly. It’s like if a girl died half her head blonde and left the rest. I’ve tried calling 2x since we left and now the phone doesn’t get answered.

Kay is the best groomer & this is the best grooming place I have ever found! Kay was so knowledgeable about senior dogs & their needs! She explained so much to me about how my Sophie, 15 year old Shih Tzu, was sensitive to the blow dryer, which could cause a pain attack! No other grooming service has ever said anything. She took such great care of her & also my 6 year old Shih Tzu, Gizmo! They both looked & smelled so good! She was super nice, caring, & the pricing is great! Better than big name pet shops!

Kay groomed my male springer spaniel who is 2 years old. He is a nervous belly when it comes to vet visits, grooming, etc. This was our first time at Lakewood Pet Grooming, Kay was recommended specifically by a family member.
She did a great job getting my guy all cleaned up for summer. He hadn’t been groomed in 4 months and was a shaggy boy. She trimmed him up just like I asked, and even checked in to make sure she wasn’t taking him too short. I appreciate a professional asking questions when in doubt, as opposed to just carrying on. She even completed his look with a cute red bow tie.
His bath, haircut, nail trim, etc was all very affordable and I will for sure take my spaniel back to Ms Kay again!

OUR DOGS NAIL WAS TRIMMED TOO SHORT, LEFT WITH A BLOODY PAW. We took our dog here to get groomed. When they called us back to pick her up they said she tried to bite the groomer while trimming her nails so they stopped. When we picked her up and took her back home we noticed her paw was bloody. We called them back and asked what happened and they confirmed they cut her nail too short and applied numbing cream (without our knowledge). They also said “this commonly happens.” When my GF was asking another question about it they cut her off saying they need to go and will call back. Still waiting on that call. Overall how the incident was handled had zero professionalism or integrity. Did not appreciate how they made us feel bad saying she was trying to bite the groomer but did not tell us it was because they had clipped her nail short enough to draw blood. And I’m pretty sure we still ended up paying for the nail trim.

Our puppy Maxwell is very excitable and wiggly, and Lakewood pet grooming still managed to make him so soft and clean. He didn’t seem overly stressed in any way when I picked him up, and the groomer did a phenomenal job with his paws and nails. Reasonable prices and excellent work.

Alyssa is amazing!! I have a husky/retriever mix and he came back looking like a show dog. He is so so soft and smelled so good. She also did a trim of the hair in his paws and nails. My dog did not show any signs of anxiety when I picked him up, and he is an anxious dog. She said he did really well. This is my second time here and will continue to come here. Thank you, Furtastic!! And the price was actually less than expected!! Which was so nice.

This place will routinely overcharges and will rip you off. Make sure you ask for confirmation on the price while dropping off your dog, and for a receipt. They will never give you a receipt. The only reason they’re able to get away with this is because they’re in such a wealthy area, I don’t think most people even notice or think to follow up.
I was charged the cost of a full bath and body trim, for something on their website that was quoted to total $26. I was (very rudely) told that I would receive a partial refund, but they have yet to follow through.
I was charged $26 extra, for a foot trim that didn’t even take place?
I’ve gotten my dog trimmed here a few times, and always found the final charge to be a suspiciously higher than what I was expecting from my booking and their website. On our most recent visit, when I expected to pay $26 and was charged $55, I called to ask for an explanation. The unprofessional woman on the phone Immediately became irritated, and repeatedly gave explanations that didn’t make sense and avoided questions.
When I calmly let her know that her rationale was not logical, she instead switch to being accusatory, and claimed that I had brought them a dirty dog to trim. My dog had been washed the night before and was squeaky clean, so this was obviously their last resort at shifting blame when they don’t have an excuse for their baloney pricing. Her defensiveness and bogus accusations of my dog being dirty also seemed a bit scripted, so I get the impression this is the explanation they fall back on routinely when nothing else is working? Give it a try! See if you hear the same thing, lol.

I have been taking my chocolate lab to Furtastic for over a year now and I could not be happier. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions. I am an inexperienced dog owner and our groomer, Nikki, could not be more patient and willing to counsel me on anything I am unsure of when it comes to my pup’s home grooming. My pup is very well groomed and well looked after in their care. All the groomers are kind and treat my pup and me like they love us best (I’m sure they make every one of their other customers feel this way, as well). I recommend Furtastic whenever I can. I trust them all wholeheartedly

I don’t live in Colorado I was there for the day and my boy needed a grooming. They got him in that day and listened how I wanted his cut. Cleaned his ears as they were bugging him. Now he’s so soft and smells so good! Very pleased will use them again in future! Best groom he’s had his 11 months of age!!

I am grateful for the service. I have a very sweet cat, but she gets very aggressive when having to get anything done like nails or bath. I am sad she got so aggressive so all she got was nails but I understand and am glad at least the nails were done. Thank you to the team and dealing with her and being able to assist to the best with my sweet/aggressive Shadow.

Great caring pet groomers. Took my 5 month old Shi/poo here for his first ever grooming and they did a great job. I was nervous cause my puppy hates even when I try to wipe his paws. I also have a small 6/7 year old poodle mix that I’ve always groomed myself cause I’m picky about someone else being gentle with him. Grooming 2 dogs myself is too much work and I might even bring my older guy there to give me a break lol. They were nice and informative. So I’m thankful to have found them. I took my cat in today to get his fur shaved from his knots that were starting to cause him pain. Kay was phenomenal in explaining possible complications and how the procedure would go. My cat came out looking more relaxed than when he went in. I was so impressed with Kay that I have decided to get my other 2 cats groomed. Great place to go.

We only had our rescue cat for about three weeks when I made the appointment. I felt it was important to get “Ro “ groomed having been in the shelter for a bit and found as stray. Based on some of the other reviews I read, I made the decision to try Furtastic. It was easy to make an appointment and ask questions about the process since I’ve never had a cat groomed. Our groomer Kay met us outside making us feel very comfortable about leaving our cat for this experience. Pick up was as simple as drop off and we got a report on how our new cat did and she looked beautiful. We were comfortable with the price and felt it was worth every penny.

My pups came back so soft and clean. Their breath finally didn’t smell awful and they were so shiny! The ladies were so easy to work with and had appointments available pretty quickly, which was great since our prior groomer hadn’t been able to get us in or communicate quickly enough to get us in for quite some time. The dogs were so happy when I picked them up and just overall looked great!

I would highly recommend Furtastic Grooming. I was having problems finding a groomer for our new pup Ziggy and I had called a few shops with no response or in one case a very rude response. When I called furtastic not only where they responsive but accommodated us right away. Ziggy’s haircut came out adorable, and He absolutely Loved Jessie! I know this from the sweet kisses he gave her when we were leaving. We’ve found our new spot and our new person, Jessie. 💕🐕

Kay immediately put my dog at ease and gave her a great cut in 2.5 hours which was perfect! I will definitely be back!

We just picked up our lovely EBD Nellie from her groom with Ashleigh and she looks/smells/feels amazing! Nellie is a puppy mill survivor, so she’s not well socialized and can be very skittish. This is only the second groom she’s ever had in her whole life, and I’m glad we went with Furtastic because Ashleigh really made it such a positive experience that I know Nellie will be more confident the next time. Not to mention that bulldogs are wrinkly little stink bugs lol. Also, just look how cute she is!! We will definitely schedule our next groom with Ashleigh 💖

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Furtastic. They have been grooming my Bernese Mountain Dog for 4 years now. Every single time he looks absolutely perfect. Like a show dog. The value and professionalism is top notch. Right now Caitlyn has been grooming him and she probably does the best job any groomer has ever done with him. 10/10 on ever level!

Wonderful experience. Rayvone did a great job and gave us a full report when we picked up our dog! I can’t recommend this place enough. The prices are also the best I’ve seen yet in the area!

My poor kitty was covered in mats and his rabies was a month expired. They took him in and did their best to get the mats out. He looks great and I’m sure he’s a lot more comfortable!

I took my giant French angora rabbit and I believe her name was Kaitlyn that took care of my girl but she was awesome! She got all the mats out of her and did amazing! I highly recommend the is place!!!!! I couldn’t find anywhere that would do my sweet girl cause she was a rabbit but she also has a wool coat. If you need a good place, this is it!

I’ve brought my dog Tucker in a few times now. He’s a big shepherd mix. Always great results and he’s so clean and fluffy and happy when I pick him up. Highly recommend.

Thank goodness for this place! Our husky rescue can be a bit of a ding dong and get himself worked up, but Kalyn goes beyond to calm him and work with him in a way that he can get comfortable with, which means a lot to us! And he always comes back looking so clean and handsome. Definitely five stars!

We are new to Furtastic and so far I’ve been really happy. It was quick and easy to get an appt set up! When I arrived our groomer came out and spent the time with me to figure out the best cut for Milo!! It’s never easy leaving him with someone but I got a really good feeling he would be taken good care of. Very excited to see his new cut!!

Our neighbors suggested this place to us when they found out we were getting a puppy earlier this year and they’ve been great every time we take our dog to be groomed.
They are always friendly, professional, and helpful in making suggestions about what would be best for our Fox Red Labrador puppy. The location is really convenient and set up for super easy outside hand-offs, which is an added bonus during these post-COVID times. Special thank you to Cheri for getting us in last minute and making our fur baby look fabulous!

Super easy to book an appointment. Everyone has been so sweet and helpful so far. We just moved from NY and finding a reliable and experienced groomer is really important for me. They took their time figuring out how I wanted my haircut and took extra care to make her first time there comfortable. Definitely recommend!
